Light is needed for plants: This might be obvious, but it’s essential. They all need some light, even if some need more or less than others. For example, daisies need lots of direct sunlight whereas mushrooms don’t so they can be grown inside a shed. This basically means that how much light enters your yard, and the angles in which it enters, will determine where you can plant things and what you can plant. Light is important because it is what helps plants produce their fuel, their energy, so it is important that all the foliage of a plant receives adequate light throughout the day at different angles. Therefore, picking the correct types of plants according to the conditions of lighting in your yard is important, and it’s quite easy to do this since they have labels on.

If you’ve investigated at any of the larger boat classified sites it’s not unheard of anymore to see up to 25% of the listings being advertised as ‘bank owned’ i.e bank repo boats. I personally like to peruse bass boats up for auction but all types of boats are liquidated. Repo auctions are particularly more prominent with performance type watercraft. The question that frequently gets tossed around in boating blogs and forums is whether banks and credit unions are motivated enough to accept offers as low as 20 to 30% of their asking price. Any lower than that and you’ll be hard pressed to get a bank to justify a response.

Assuming you are presenting an all cash offer for a particular repo boat. Your offer needs to be reasonable with respect to its market value and if it is… you can expect the bank to entertain your offer and subsequently counter that offer or depending on how long the lender has been trying to remarket the boat repo — agree to it outright.

It’s not the most efficient means but you can go directly to a local, regional, or national bank and ask them what boat repos they have for sale? But be prepared to wade through a lot of red tape, time, and an overall lack of response or help from bank supervisors. For the most part banks are busy lending and don’t have time, authorization, or understanding to attend to a boat repo negotiation.
